To summarise:
1. Vote for your Anime [by 2 Oct]
2. List original animes in your anime library (Please volunteer if you have any of the titles mentioned above)
3. Anime Screening title: "Anime Revelations" or another? Please give some ideas!

Title Suggestions for the event:

Some additional clarification, when we mean anime library, we mean official releases through DVDs, Blurays, VCDs (No VHSes please)

Actually, I wouldn't recommend showing "5cm per Second" just yet. We just screened "The Place Promised in our Early Days" last semester, so it might seem a bit repetitive if we screen two Makoto Shinkai films within the same year. I think it's best we wait for the 2nd semester for that.

From my personal library, and omitting those that we have drawn on before for our last three years of screenings, I have the following which fit the format of feature length screenings.

I don't have many originals, I'm afraid. Although I do have the following:

All Studio Ghibli productions (not including the Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Ponyo)

Kiddy Grade

So yeah. *pokes at pathetic pile*

The movie might be filmed in live-action, but the source material originated from the comic subculture before being animated (アニメ化), which in turn inspired the live-action.

Just food for thought.

hmm yea. oh i thought i was the anime version and not the live action. XD. wasn't sure if there was the anime ver of the movie... XD hmm but i was wondering if it's valid for us to show live-actions @ anime screenings.... i think it'll have a greater draw but... hmm...

but consider, that the movie was shown in cinemas rather recently, so for a good number of people, it is still fresh in their mind, so there is less incentive to watch right now.
