story ideas

i'm just starting one here to provide encouragement for people to fill in whatever ideas they have... it need not be a totally fleshed out story with plotholes all covered and stuff (though that would be nice) but generally ideas, stuff that we can draw like 4komas to one-shots to epic stories. just thinking that we can cut our teeth on making some of these ideas into comics in preparation for making a publication i guess. it's a win-win; you might get to see some of your ideas illustrated ...

what do you hope to learn?

uh, as you all know there's going to be some teaching and some learning on our wednesday meetings until we all get to a standard that we're pleased with. so i was wondering if we should focus on anything more specific to learn/teach. i mean given the group that we have now, it wouldn't be very productive to teach how to draw the face all over again from square one, would it? personally though i would like to learn more on making figures more dynamic and less stiff (maybe some foreshortening ...
