A fabricated reality, or derivative reality, is in fact close to impossible to differentiate from the 'faulty' original. Especially so if the only difference is merely a different decision made at the point of intersection between the two, with respect to the individual who chose the path that led to that derivative.
Man has had always been choosing to try and achieve/attain everything mortally possible through their choices. Each choice, and similarly each choice not undertaken, lead to different outcomes from the source. The reality that we exist can be thought of as one that resulted from a specific permutation of choices made not only by ourselves, but also of other sentient beings. And it itself is still branching away indefinitely from the root source upon which all other possible realities are based.
Now, would you like to take the Blue Pill, or the Red Pill?
