Since we've been going on alot of outings lately, anyone interested in heading down to China square central this Sunday to check out the famous toy/figure collector flea market?

If I go, will you all wait for me again? Definitely gonna be late since morning will be spent queuing up outside JCSS >.<

Hey Desomond, if you are taking the advanced class, it's not to queue on Sunday morning. You need to call JCS and have a test of japanese proficiency on Monday instead. Sunday registration is only for newbies going for elementary school if I'm not mistaken.
I think I should be able to make it on Sunday afternoon.

Actually no need to even take the proficiency test at all - got a Level 4 cert to show. But my foundations (imho) are way too wobbly as no studying was done for that, unless a decade of watching wayy too much anime counts.
Gestalgeek, registration opens at 10am but the crowd is a random factor. Not sure of the rough time-frame that the paperwork and stuff will be done.

Re: China Square Central Outing?
my brother frequents the place every week. Maybe that's why his room's starting to smell of old stuff

20 December is for enrollment of elemenatry course ONLY. That's what stated in my letter. It would be better for u to call JCS. My friend will need to take a proficiency test to go for a higher level class even though she has the JLPT cert. Otherwise, u may spend 1.5 hrs queuing for nothing.

Re: China Square Central Outing?
Not quite, vendors have to register a few weeks in advance for allocated spaces with tables provided. You often end up with regular vendors who attend every week and are stationed at the same spot. Also because collectors regularly descend upon the shopping mall every sunday, there are quite alot of permanent shops that cater to toy/figure collectors as well.

I suspect it's chinatown point, the one where our affiliate Pan in the Box is located.
