I know its been quite a few posts down alr, but I would just like to agree with this. I read Train man before and it was fine, but Genshiken is quite more 'hardcore'/deeper in a very diff direction which I cannot really relate to honestly altho I was sitting there for a extremely long time.
Also, I think the some of the suggestions below of live-action or parodies of popular anime sounds quite gd.
